no he souldn't retire he is still and elite fighter and even pacquiao would still have more losses then him so he shouldn't but thats if pac wins though
Wht the fks up wiv people now adays...you lose 2 fights and apparently your a failure?....even the greatest had loses....its what you do after you lose that counts....fkin ell hes 30 or so....
2 defeats and he should retire wow...he can still fight even if he loses defeats dont mean anything aslong as u fought the best in your time
Most fighters fight to be the best if they stay any time longer is for the money or the love of the sport. Cotto been through many battles if he can't reach the top he could only get seriously hurt. He's fights are not picked fights against smaller dudes. Manny is small, but he represents a danger because of his speed and power combination. Plus he can do that for 12 rounds. Its not like Cotto has a huge height advantage. The reach is the same, so Cotto only advantage is his power which Manny can elude.
I swear I'm starting to hate Mother****ers who make post like this. Just because a boxers loses to another great boxer doesn't mean he is done. Even the greatest boxers to ever enter the ring not only have loses but devastating ones at that
true that people like t.s. are straight weak. t.s obviously aint a man.
I've been saying, I believe the Margarito fight ruined Cotto. Clottey didn't even show up IMHO and still won IMO, Cotto should have been able to deal with that Clottey. It wasn't so much the cut, that wasn't the Cotto that entered the ring against Shane, Judah or Quintana. But maybe, Cotto's confidence was ruined, MAYBE.
Everyone harps on the Clottey fight. Why? Cotto is not the first to have a tough fight with Clottey. Clottey does it to everyone he fights. Ask Judah and Margorito. Hes good face it.

Yeah anybody who even considers themselves a fan of the sport, and knows a little bit about it's history, would never make comments like this. **** disgust me every time. Hopefully real boxing fans can team up and start red K'ing these idiots.
Well we do have to admit that most boxers get the hint too late. Its not just if he loses but also how he loses. I have watch Cotto from his LWW days and I dont see where he is so much worse now. As a matter of fact he has become an excellent boxer puncher over the years. I dont think he loses this fight but if he does it can not be a onesided KO or there are questions to ask. Only the fighter knows when their last fight is. We only kow when its one too many.
If he does retire( Cotto ).......................i hope he doesnt pick a lightweight if he ever does "unretire".....................but no he shouldnt retire...............if he gets Hattonize in the first round is another story.....................
