Of course not, he's fighting a guy thats making him drain himself, fight on Miguel.
Should Cotto retire if he loses to Pacquiao?

Yeah anybody who even considers themselves a fan of the sport, and knows a little bit about it's history, would never make comments like this. **** disgust me every time. Hopefully real boxing fans can team up and start red K'ing these idiots.Comment

cotto has no business losing to a former 106 lber. that is all.I don't know if this topic has been made, but I was discussing this with some friends yesterday, and we pretty much agreed that he should. He has not seemed himself lately, and even if this has been because he has been fighting good comp, he should quit while he's still healthy. He has handled his money well, and I think he's financially secure.
If a small dude like Pac manages to beat him, I think he should fight some average fighter here in PR as a farewell fight, similar to Tito-Cherifi. He could still beat some other WWs even if he loses to Pac, but why push it? He'd have taken a lot of punishment. I was just watching the Margarito fight last night, and that **** was brutal. It was nearly Tito-Vargas level.Comment

He should take a break or another easy fight, but i say that'll be the end of Cotto. He's been in a lot of wars with many fighters that no one has face. How manny fighters can say they fought Clottey, Mosley, Margachito and Pacquiao. Name any other current fighter at 147 that has fought all these guys when they still had alot left. Margo had plaster, Mosley became champ and Clottey was injured free.Comment

He has a full year before retirement. He's fighting TOP WW competition, its usually harder to look good fighting at that level than when cherry picking. Margo fight was brutal but obviously Cotto has done better after that beating than Margo, sure Margo didn't end up losing more than Cotto?I don't know if this topic has been made, but I was discussing this with some friends yesterday, and we pretty much agreed that he should.
