Hearn is a promoter. He promotes himself and his fighters. The reason why his quotes are written up as articles on here is because it entertains or provokes readers. The reason he's continually interviewed is because he is a good interview - he will reliably say something controversial or topical. Imagine if when asked about the Paul/Diaz fight he responded by saying "No comment, that's none of my business". How many more times would he be asked on their shows?
Arum used to be this way but now he is in his dotage his answers are more circumspect and more like soundbites.
If every promoter was reclusive like Al Haymon then boxing would be very different and so would boxing websites.Comment

Hearn isnt wrong tbh. It was an absolute **** show as expected. Only thing that surprised me is Nate going the distance considering how slow, old and hittable he is.
It is once things go to the ground but his ability (or even desire) to actually take it there in the first place is not. Hes a weird fighter. Barely kicks as well. I could definitely see why Jake might consider risking an MMA fight with him at this stage.Comment
