How much PPV would Canelo vs Crawford sell?

Definitely more than Canelo vs Jermell imo.

Canelo-Crawford would be just a gargantuan sellout. Crawford raised his profile so much with that ass whooping that everybody who DIDN'T know him before now knows him. Coupled with the media circuit post-fight he's gone on with the morning news talk shows, doing Joe Rogan, his profile has gone up. A match-up like this I honestly believe would sell more than Tank-Garcia.

Tank-Garcia did around 1.2 million because this was a really clamored for fight, and even then...I'm sure there was a lot of piracy cause...let's be honest...how many of those million followers on Ryan's instagram are actual boxing fans and willingly shell out money for a fight?

You'll have people tuning in to watch Canelo, people tuning in to watch Crawford, a few hundreds of thousands bitter Spence fans tuning in to see Crawford get beat, people tuning in just to be at a mega fight (celebrities, people attracted to just big events no matter what kind they are), and finally a large segment of boxing fans tuning in to just see...whether or not Crawford pulls something as insane as this off.

    1.5+ million easily.

If they announce it, people will call it a farce, mismatch, will boycott it but as soon as fight week is winding down. You are gonna' get a **** ton of last minute pay per view orders flooding Showtime.

It always happens. Nobody will have anything better to do on a Saturday and they will tune in.

Crawford still ain't that marketable. Spence fight made only 650k-750k. People wanted that fight for ***in 5 years and PPV numbers didn't satisfy me. Canelo-Charlo will badly surpass it.

I still think Canelo vs Benavidez would sell more PPV than Canelo vs Crawford. Both surpass 1 million easily but only Benavidez fight can crack 1.5 million limit.

      My vote goes to 1-1.2m.

Around the same as the first GGG fight, perhaps a little more.

GGG wasn't a PPV draw. It was Canelo carrying that fight. I think Canelo brings in 800k buys and Crawford 600k.

obviously not gonna happen but I'd love to see Bud take on a Ryder or even GGG at 168 to get his feet wet, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if Canelo didn't demand it before he fights Bud

GGG murders him. This fight will be already one sided beatdown. But, solid fantasy fight. Crawford will fool his dumba$$ fans like he fighting for legacy. But, actually it's retirement check.

Canelo-Benavidez WOULD sell more. I agree. Put that fight on a Cinco de Mayo weekend and you have yourself a fight that can do almost 2 million easily.

With the first and second fight being Canelo's highest PPV buys behind Mayweather, I'd say that's not entirely true. It always depends on your dance partner and GGG had a part to play in those being as successful as they were.
