yeah people are confusing (intentionally or not) height with the body frame size/bulkiness.

its like a powerful dozer vs a tall thin tree

Charlo looks like a tall thin tree next to Canelo? Lol.

I think Jermell has shown he can use his reach to his advantage. He has an awesome Jab.

On the flip side, the issue with being smaller in stature and reach is that you have no choice but to do something extra to get in and land. You don't have the luxury of pressing the action from the outside. You have to either consistently come forward or learn how to counter while being pushed back. This takes more energy but can be very effective if you have a high IQ, agility, power, and twitch reflexes like tank, Crawford, Canelo and Pac. However if the bigger man also has those abilities, like Bivol, then crap, this isn't gonna be good for ya.

Does Jermell have a good IQ, agility, power, and twitch reflexes to complete with Canelo? That's the real question.
Different things. Charlos are not acclimatized to fight at 168 , so from the start its a big difference in stamina, power and strength in Canelo's favor. Also Charlos were inactive for more than a year in their own weight classes.

These fights are just business fights/cash in fights that looks good on paper for the casuals.

the end of the fight will tell if I was right

Charlos have more of a "leaner" natural body structure. Canelo is just a bulky-strong fighter like Mike Tyson was at HW.

You make a point. Charlo not being active in a year will hurt him for this fight. I would like to see Charlo come in at 164-165 lbs. I think Charlo walks around at 180-190 anyway so making the weight won't be a big thing to him. Squeezing down to 165 should be less stress on Charlo's body. I hope Charlo has a really good training camp.

True. I'd compare Canelo's type of body frame with the one of Arthur Abraham. Small height but well sized body frame @168.

What do you mean “after his career”? He already walks around at 200 pounds. Get right now
