If he does move up and fight Canelo, assuming theres no Spence rematch or he wins the Spence rematch, and Canelo miraculously takes the fight, and he wins, he definitely would solidify he's the best fighter of this era. A lot of ifs. Unlikely Canelo takes that fight because he won't get credit.

A bit harsh but Crawford did not help himself by aligning with Top Rank for so long. He did beat some qualities guys and it doesn't appear that he ducked anyone but being on the wrong side of the street did prevent some great matchups. Even this fight with Spence should have happened at least a few years earlier.
