Comments Thread For: Mike Tyson on Ngannou-Fury: It's Gonna Be a War of Attrition; Francis is Picking Up his Endurance

Mike Tyson doesn't envision an early night for the upcoming heavyweight curio between Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury. Indeed, the former heavyweight great has a feeling that the fight will resemble trench warfare, which is to say, drawn-out and laborious.

At the time of typing, the above article reads: "Fury, 34, owns two wins over feared puncher Deontay Wilder and Wladimir Klitschko."

Tyson Fury, all controversies aside, in fact owns three wins over feared punchers Deontay Wilder & Wladimir Klitschko.

C'mon Mike! I get that they are trying to hype the fight but the only way this lasts long is if Fury carries him! Easy work and easy money for Tyson Fury. I would prefer Mike fight Fury instead of being in the corner. This is nonsense. May as well be the WWE!

"Manchester’s Fury, who is arguably the top heavyweight in the world. Fury, 34, owns two wins over feared puncher Deontay Wilder and Wladimir Klitschko."

"Arguably the top heavyweight " in this day and age is laughable.

And that's about it. Who else did he beat again? He beat an old Klitschko and never gave him a rematch because he was suspended for doping.

If Francis Ngannou somehow manages to land a lucky punch and knocks out Tyson Fury (and that's a big if), he will be the man who beat the man, the lineal boxing heavyweight champion of the world. That's a BIG deal!
