They'll have some kind of a clause in the contract to prevent such thing from happening.

Notice how they still don't have the conditions for this fight laid out. Rules, number of rounds, exhibition status?

And I wonder why. It's not like Fury can't deal with punchers.

Fury has an interesting kind of chin.

He can be put down by a cruiserweight, but at the same time, Wilder, of all men, hit him with a clean murderous 1-2 and not only did Fury stand up, he gave Wilder hell for the rest of the round.

So, yeah, Tyson falls, but he does get up every single time.

The most spectacular of Ngannou's KO's, the 'Reem one, was the result of Alistair's chin being suspended in the air waiting to be uppercutted to hell.

Fury won't let that happen. Francis hits hard, but you need to land that bazooka precisely first.

The lineal title has nothing to do with clauses. Just have to beat the man who beat the man, in the ring. Simple.

You're right. But they were talking something about no knockout rule or body punches only or somesuch.

If you pitty pat a lineal champion for 8 rounds you don't become a man who beat the man.

But yeah, if Ngannou dances with Fury under these conditions for 30 minutes and looks sowewhat decent we might hear a lot of voices telling us how he 'beat' Fury.

I agree. Francis Ngannou won't win any other way.
