Comments Thread For: Floyd Mayweather Praises Keyshawn Davis: "He's a Helluva Fighter"

Keyshawn Davis is good. Some may already consider him great. Yet, despite believing that he's on his way to superstardom, Davis isn't so full of himself to ignore those who are willing to lend him a helping hand.

I'm a huge fan of Floyd as a fighter but the more he talks during his retirement the more I dislike his ass. This is one narcissistic pompous sum bih. Notice how everybody is just a helluva fighter. Basically putting all these guys at the same level with no explanation to what makes them a helluva fighter.

Everybody is a hell of a fighter. Let's give them that. They're lacing them up and getting in there.

I don't like him and don't get the hype. He makes a lot of mistakes better fighters will exploit.

Think of it this way, Malignaggi was an average guy that had a decent career. He is never going to be ranked amongst the great. Ever.
However, he is incredibly knowledgeable and can explain fights and fighters perhaps better than anyone.
Floyd was a great fighter but a horrible communicator. Floyd could never be an analyst and I don’t think he can coach.
Average boxers tend to be great coaches. Some who never boxed turned out to be great coaches as well. Some who never fought turned out to be great analysts.
Expecting Floyd to give profound insights about boxers or boxing would be like expecting Malignaggi to beat Crawford. Lol

It doesn’t help that Floyd is incredibly insecure about himself hence the often repeated mantra of “I’ve made good investments” etc.

                    Floyd is still an ATG
