It was a totally different situation with Canelo and GGG. To fight Cotto for the belt, he agreed to take GGG as his first defense. Instead, he dropped his belt like a coward. Boots isn't even first in line to get a crack at Crawford. He's behind Spence rematch and Stanionis. If Boots had real management behind him, maybe it would be different.

That’s what I’m talking about. That’s a real fight right there. There aren’t any other blockbuster opponents out there for either of them anyway. The case can be made for Morell and Benavides but, meh, won’t make big numbers with them and they are not going to beat canelo.

Went from saying 154 the MAX. To 158 to 160, and now it’s 168. Crawford is reaching. He’s desperate for that legacy fight. He might’ve reached to far here and out his foot in his mouth. Sht’s crazy.

If Crawford beat Canelo at 168 Floyd would have to admit he’s not TBE

Props to Bud for believing in his skills, but this is a bridge too far. He'll be slower at the weight and his power will not carry to 168.

Saul walks him down and wins by KO. Will be a hefty payday for him, however.

If you think we'll see the same agile/fast Bud version that just whipped ESJ at 147 but 3 (THREE) weight classes above oh boy you better think twice. That being said I still want to watch it and Id give a solid 40% chance for TC to win just out of pure skill ,he is that special of a fighter imo but would prefer him to test himself first as a 154 to close gap a little and make the same jump Charlo is doing now. 147 straight to 168 is just not right.

Its odd Bud now changed his mind so quickly, could be just random crazy talk But make no mistake Canelo- Crawford could very well be the Real Biggest fight in Boxing today ,two of biggest P4P undisputed champs ,Elite mexican vs Elite african american ,it doesn't get any better than that.
