If they were a legitimate organisation then they would have called purse bids a long time ago. But they didn't, and I'm also assuming neither fighter really wanted the fight - given neither actually pushed for the WBC to call purse bids.
My conclusion remains the same as it had been. It was never a real order, there were never any real negotiations.
Fury gets his joke fight with no mandatory obligations getting in the way.
Wilder and Ruiz will fight for a vacant title at some point.
And everyone is happy. There weren't many ways to reach this point without everyone being complicit.Comment

Whats the point in being ranked in the top 15 with the wbc. Not only do they not have any control over their champion but also their top 2 contenders
They may as well drop out of the rankings and dont pay any fees. If they are lucky they could get some kind of shot about 3 years from now, if the belt becomes vacantComment

Idk man Fury will likely duck Usyk and retire after he claims he defeated the best fighter Ngannou..but we’ll see bc his rep is already damaged from Usyk ?Comment

His rep is where it's been since he fought Wilder three times. There was no duck against Usyk considering Bob, Frank, and Klimas have all stated they're waiting for the Saudis. If you want to go back and look at negotiations then it was all on Usyk and Klimas.Comment

The WBC is slipping into "nearly as bad as the WBA" territory.
Sulaiman is going to be collecting welfare within 5 years.Comment

I anticipated this and the confirmation is here.I called this a long time ago. I am wondering why people are surprised by this? or why they couldn't see this coming. In Uzbekistan, the WBC will make Wilder vs Joshua as the final eliminator if that fight can be made.
All these sanctioning bodies are simply businesses trying to make the most money out of boxing and each body will try to get the biggest names.
The interesting thing, however, would be if they can agree to a split and other agreements given that the current agreement is, to the best of my knowledge, done independently by each boxer with Skills Challenge. So, if SK cannot put up the money for this, they would have to negotiate an agreement based on splits, broadcasting rights, venue, etc. By rule, Wilder is #1 and should get the larger share but that may not go well with AJ.Comment

Neither Ruiz or Wilder wanted that fight it was all posturing. This one is the one Wilder wants but not next and if he does he’s getting sparked with no tune up . The terms are already agreed to anyway so it’s not a Ruiz situation .Comment

Yea sure sure , the 30% wasn’t a duck AFTER walking away from more money on the Saudi deal Fury himself cancelled and Warren stating he wants more money then the fight was worth in Saudi ? how the hell you going to spin that ,that’s Warren statements before he had to twist things ?
Fury literally threw a tantrum when Usyk accepted the 30% telling him he needs to fire everyone around him for accepting such a low ball offer HE said that I didn’t ,that’s not an attempted duck ,are you sure ? Lol
He was literally upset and had to do fake laughs on social media and had to then move more goal posts to make an unacceptable offer…yea good luck keeping on defending the impossible,I know what his rep is and so do you .
