David Tua Plans New Zealand Return Before 2010

Heavyweight David Tua is planning to return for another fight in New Zealand before the year is out. Tua's promoter Cedric Kushner told reporters that his fighter will continue to fight in New Zealand for the moment. Tua returned to action on Saturday after a two year layoff to destroy hometown rival Shane Cameron in two brutal rounds. The end came so quick that even Tua was surprised. [details]

Sounds good. It was a very brutal performance and I hope the next fight will be the same. I just hope he will not gain much weight and stays in shape. A few pounds less would make him just more vicious.

I was dreaming of Tua working with Roger Mayweather. He would be the perfect coach for the Tuaman. Maybe his Bob and weave/shoulder-role defence would get better. If Tua trains on this and his footwork he can be dangerous to anybody.

    Go Tuaman!

Great to hear he's gonna keep active, this spells doom for so many top heavyweights. I be Ruiz is sat at home genuinely ****ting it right now.

I hear word he's gonna fight Meehan next, which will be great to get himself in the ratings for the IBF and WBA.

Kali Meehan would be perfect. He called Tua out after the fight.

F.uck Hasim Rahman, he's a quitter and a win over him doesn't mean ****. I think Kali Meehan's a great choice as an opponent; he's ranked high by the WBA and isn't a quitter like Rahman...
