I know New York City in the middle of August is miserable, but you would assume that a pair of undisputed champions - super middleweight boss Canelo Alvarez and junior middleweight king Jermell Charlo - would look at least a little bit happy about their September 30 bout in Las Vegas.

He lost a step by not fighting the top contender Benavidez, or PBC is trying to make Canelo vs Benavidez bigger.

I think Charlo is one of the best ability opponents Canelo has faced along with Plant and Bivol, its going to be an interesting fight with Canelos chin and power being a big player, I can see Charlo being in front on the scorecards for a good portion and a good winning chance if he sees out the 12 rounds.

Canelo seems to have lost a step or two, yet this fight seems to be labeled as a mismatch. Don't believe Charlo will win, but he has the footwork and technical skills to give Canelo fits. If Charlo can keep the movement consistent and land enough to keep Canelo off of him, he is a live underdog. The Charlos have always been giants in their weight classes and Canelo has always been a small SMW, so size might not be as big a factor as it's made to be. All in all, this is very intriguing matchup with all the questions surrounding it.

I'm looking forward to the fight but I can't think of the last time I saw a champion move up 2 weight classes to blast out another champion. Jones Ruiz?

Canelo has not lost a step. He's been fighting heavy guys. His power has not translated to the light heavyweight division. He's going to clean Charlo's clock!

No it's not! The reason that the fans are saying that you've lost a step is, because you have lost a step, or two.
You can psych yourself up all you want, by trying to convince yourself that "it's good that people are saying that you've lost a step".
I'm not so sure that Jermell will be the one to exploit this fact, but he's got a chance to cause you some problem's.
That said if Jermell can deal with your power, then you've got some serious problem's in this particular fight.
