  • Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: We Made Offers, There's Not Been One Offer To Tyson Fury This Year

Frank Warren, co-promoter of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, explained that his fighter had not received a single offer from potential opponents. Fury, out of the ring since last December when he battered Derek Chisora in their trilogy fight, had tried to secure several opponents since the start of the year.

It would be easy for us to automatically think everyone is a liar and that likely is true. What if (I say what if) this actually is the truth? That would be quite sad for boxing.

Lie and lie again, until fans become tired.

That's because he's the A side, has the belts and on top of that cannot fight in the USA. We all know that Fury isn't going to fight AJ on a Matchroom card, or a PBC card, it would have to be Arum/Warren as lead promoter. So what kind of offer could any of the promoters even make?

Besides, the comments are just more lies anyway, he was offered the Usyk fight in Saudi, turned it down.

I think it's sad that the WBC champion has screwed people around to the point where they simply won't waste time on him any more.

For a fight to get made, it will need to be Fury making cast iron offers.

He's the boy who cried wolf.

The Champ should be getting offers and challenges left, right and centre. You've got to ask yourself why this one isn't.

Frank's been doing this for years, decades even. Throw out a lowball offer (or a s**tty offer of some other kind) knowing it won't be accepted and then run to the press and say "See! We tried to make the fight and they didn't want it! What more can we do?"

It ain't gonna work this time, Frank, we know full well who the guilty party is.

Bricktop gets away with it because journalists are scared of him and don't hold him to account. Even edgelord "shock jock" Simon Jordan bottled it when he had the opportunity.

We all know if he offered Ussyk a 50/50 or even 60/40 they would of fought by now. Ussyk even agreed to a 70/30 but then he became unreasonable and is now settling for this charade. Have they even approached Sanchez or Hrgovic before he agreed to fight Demsey or even a rematch with Wallin probably not and this is the man who said his happy to live in a council house, Fury is treating the boxing fans like mugs and his fans are lapping it up.
