Top Rank has all these fighters but they never fight each other. Shakur will face another low ranked fighter like he did in his last fight then Top Rank will release a statement claiming everyone is ducking him. That’s their blueprint and it works well.

They don't have no smoke for shakur. Loma don't want it. Devin left. Kambosos is to easy.
So what fights aren't they making?Last edited by Hustle; 08-14-2023, 11:31 AM.

Could be like Mayweather vs Maidana, these awkward volume punchers tend to give slick boxers their toughest fights.

I don't see it as a competitive fight at all.

He’d probably give Shakur some problems in spurts but I’d pick Shakur to win a clear decision.
Shakurs style is difficult. I don’t think anyone beats him unless moves up out of his comfort zone & fights above his natural weight.
it’s silly to me but it’s pretty much what fans start demanding after a while, look at Floyd, Manny, Loma, Canelo, now they even want Inoue to jump up 3 more weights and fight Tank lol.
I don’t blame nav for not taking the Shakur fight. He just got to 130. Why jump up another weight class and immediately take a potentially lopsided loss? Then what ? Go back to 130 ?Wacked_Out likes this.

Id rather see him fight Valdez again. They really want this for Stevenson because they want to avoid anyone who could give him a real problem, like Tank.
