Top Rank has all these fighters but they never fight each other. Shakur will face another low ranked fighter like he did in his last fight then Top Rank will release a statement claiming everyone is ducking him. That’s their blueprint and it works well.

Bob will keep Navarrete away from Shakur and safe.

Top rank only matches their guys against each other. They started in house fights.

They don't have no smoke for shakur. Loma don't want it. Devin left. Kambosos is to easy.

So what fights aren't they making?

Could be like Mayweather vs Maidana, these awkward volume punchers tend to give slick boxers their toughest fights.

Navarrete might give Shakur problems--or maybe not.

The difference being that Floyd was old and smaller than Maidana while Shakur is in his prime and the same size or bigger than Navarrete.

I don't see it as a competitive fight at all.

He’d probably give Shakur some problems in spurts but I’d pick Shakur to win a clear decision.

Shakurs style is difficult. I don’t think anyone beats him unless moves up out of his comfort zone & fights above his natural weight.

it’s silly to me but it’s pretty much what fans start demanding after a while, look at Floyd, Manny, Loma, Canelo, now they even want Inoue to jump up 3 more weights and fight Tank lol.

I don’t blame nav for not taking the Shakur fight. He just got to 130. Why jump up another weight class and immediately take a potentially lopsided loss? Then what ? Go back to 130 ?

Id rather see him fight Valdez again. They really want this for Stevenson because they want to avoid anyone who could give him a real problem, like Tank.

Man thats absolutely it. I feel its like they want people to keep jumping weight classes until they lose. Why would Navarrette want to get sacrificed Loma style?? Inoue is next.
