    I hope Helenius retires now

He didn`t make much money until Wilder fight, but with Wilder and Joshua fights he can probably retire. He will never get another big pay day again.

I have always liked this brave warrior, although he has always been very basic. His the most glorious moment are two stoppage wins over Kownacki, who was even top 10 by the Ring at some point.

You never know. There may be future demands to make a boxer look good against a known but not dangerous name and Helenius can fit in that role.

The AJ fight was taken off PPV. He probably got a bit of gratitude money for being a late replacement.

Just looking it up, he apparently made $1m v Wilder and £1.5m against AJ.

Once your team takes their cut, and you pay your tax on those earnings, it's not money you could retire on for the next 40 years unless he invested it. He would still need some income. Also I don't know if be still lives in Finland but you don't get much for your American or British money there. Its a very expensive place, its ok if you're earning money in Finland because it's relative to what they earn.

But at his age, he's still made more money than most fighters who are just fringe contenders. I agree he should retire and hopefully with a plan to use that money wisely.
