Joe Tessitore is garbage. How close was that fight really?

Man I've said it a million times on here: the commentary is SUPPOSED TO BE BIASED. That's how ESPN runs their business. Period.
It was the commentators job to sell the fight as an all out war, razor thin, down to the wire. It keeps casuals more engaged and maybe stops some of them from changing the channel.
They're doing their job.Comment

Having to listen to these 2 do a fight is nauseating.
The whole fucking fight these two clowns are commentating about a fight that isn’t happening all to push for a rematch.
Navarette is smacking Valdez around, is never hurt, yet Tim somehow sees some close, epic fight.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 08-13-2023, 09:24 AM.Comment

I gave Valdez like 3-4 rounds.. I could see 10-2 as well. But them comparing this fight to the Barrera-Morales trilogy fights was ridiculous. Those 2 last night would have gotten embarrassed by either of those guys in their primes.Comment

Reminds me of when PBC we’re pushing for a Santa Cruz vs Mares rematch. The fight was competitive but one guy was the clear winner and the rematch would likely be no different. TR know the fight sells well so were trying to convey it as a close all action war.Comment

I missed it but fucc ESPN for the that. I watched the fight from ESPN deportes and even though they got a female commentator, it’s that hot Mariela Espinoza and she knows boxing.
regular ESPN be having these assertive broads that know nothing about sports but never shut the fucc up. Fucc ESPN and fucc them with their emasculating males agenda.Comment
