OMG, the fix was in. This article came out before the scores were announced on ESPN. I had it a draw, with a slight edge to Valdez winning by 1 point. The judges scorecards we're a joke.

Don't smoke weed before watching fights. It alters your judgement.

That skin toughness is unreal and a big advantage. Hard to lose a fight on scorecards when your faces look so much different.

Totally agree. His technique and defence are underestimated. Good feints, can fight inside, power in both hands.

I was not impressed by Valdez and his preparation. Don't know what they worked on in the gym, but that was awful. Navarette barely broke a sweat and was still breathing through his nose till round 10. He took his foot off the gas and almost fell asleep midway. He was kind to Valdez, he could have finished him off in the 4.

valdez adjusted very well mid rounds started implementing more upperbody movement and counters
