Well, there's no reason why he can't still pursue the IBF route he chose. Which is now owned by Bud Crawford.
Boots filed a petition last year and IBF gave Spence 120 days notice. Don't know why he's not doing it now
so that the clock may start ticking for Bud. The sooner the better.
