I don’t have my journal with me, but if I’m not mistaken I only gave Plant a single round. Granted, I may have had an off night scoring that night but when I rewatched it felt like Plant won 3 rounds AT BEST in the early going.

That wasn’t the same story with Benavidez. Plant won 3 of the first six rounds AT WORST.

They were planning spence down the line if he won v Crawford.

So we know Benavidez wasn't part of their plans if the Charlo sisters are the other 2. Whether that'll change now it's unlikely to be Errol remains to be seen.

But I think we can safely say he wasn't planning to fight Benavidez.
