Loma is unfortunately to old right now to challenge Stevenson
Shakur just looking for that recognition of having Loma’s name on his resume
Now in all honesty, shouldn’t Stevenson be going after Haney

Why are you protecting Loma lol? shakur has been calling out Haney, Haney is officially moving up. Next in line is Loma for the WBC. There isn’t a bigger fight to be made, surely he isn’t going to duck a title shot.

I'm not protecting anyone. All I'm saying is why aren't people clamoring for Haney/Shakur or Shakur vs anyone that didn't lose their last fight.

Why am I getting the feeling that Loma goes to 130 for the winner of Valdez vs. Navarette? Looking at the WBC LW Rankings, I'm cool with Shakur fighting anyone in Top 7:

Why is he calling out Loma in the first place? Shouldn't he be chasing after Haney who is the champion? Or Tank coming off a big PPV performance? Loma has nothing to gain by fighting Shakur besides a hard earned paycheck. Loma wants titles, wants to seal his legacy. If by some miracle Haney fights him and Shakur wins the titles, do you really think he'll be looking to give Loma a shot?

He isnt calling Haney out because Bob is on record as saying the fight will not sell and Haney has a fight with Prograis coming up.

If Loma is still as good as you say, won the Haney fight, and is the best at 135, Shakur should be calling him out, right?

Loma and Shakur would be fighting for the WBO and IBF titles Haney will drop.

Loma and TR dont want to risk losing 2 in a row. His fans like you dont want to see him lose again either, which is why youre against Shakur calling him out.

They will most likely make Loma v Kambosos and once Loma wins, then match him in a unification with Shakur.

Imo its about earning money to take care of your family. Usually fights for belts provide more money.

I think TR sees more long term money to be made by delaying the Shakur v Loma fight. It is a strategy they have used successfully for 50 years.
