So who should Boots beat up to be able to bring something to the table?
Also, Bud will be 36 next year IF they do fight so it will become a lose-lose situation for Bud
He can’t make anything out before Spence says yes or no to rematch
Let’s see how that plays off
I don't even know why Boots is at 147 he's already fought at 154lbs and he might even be a little bigger than Spence. Every time I see clips of him training or him just the gym in Phili regular he's looking like he's 170lbs+ so while Boots is good I just can't get with guys losing that much weight to a point where it's a built in advantage smh..That's why Spence career is going the way it's going and it's not going to get any easier for him at 154lbs now..
I believe you are 100% correct!
When fighters shrink down they gain an advantage that they lose when they move up. I do believe Spence will have trouble grinding bigger guys and Charlo also falls into that category. Canelo is a short 175lber and Benavidez is a tall, both have skills but both have also used their size and strength advantage to beat better boxers late when their natural strength and size can make up the difference. IMO, weighing in the day of would dramatically reshuffle boxing.
Ennis and his team talk more than they fight. Mr. exclusive showtime fighter SHOULD fight Thurman or at least attempt to. Or fight Barrios. Shiiiiit, fight SOMEBODY. Whinin, cryin n b!tchin is all that's common out that camp.
