David Benavidez vs Demetrius Andrade will be pay-per-view fight
Benavidez vs Andrade will be yet another PPV event for boxing fans to shell out for this fall.

David Benavidez vs Demetrius Andrade is being planned for the fall, which you probably already knew, and in case you were wondering, yes, it will be another PBC and Showtime pay-per-view, according to Mike Coppinger at ESPN.com.

This shouldn’t really come as a surprise, even if it’s increasingly exasperating to keep reaching into your pocket for more and more pay-per-view money just to follow the sport. Benavidez’s March win over Caleb Plant did stronger than anticipated numbers, and once a guy gets on pay-per-view, it’s really hard to talk them back off of it if they won the last time out.

Currently, PBC has Canelo vs Charlo set for PPV on Sept. 30, and it’s expected that Keith Thurman vs Yordenis Ugas will be finalized for PPV the fall, too. If Gervonta Davis fights again by the end of the year, that’s a guaranteed PPV, and if a potential Crawford vs Spence 2 fight comes before the year is out, that’s another one. And there could be others packed into the last few months of 2023, not even counting whatever potential PPVs come from DAZN or ESPN/Top Rank...

If this comes together, I think Andrade's style (like it or not) will be more difficult for Benavidez to deal with than Canelo's style. It may not be a popular position but I personally think Andrade is the real thing, top one or two in the division. IMO, only time beats Andrade, I just don't know when that time is.

This would look like Floyd vs Gatti. Straight massacre.

You may be right, and it would serve Benavidez well, because I really wanted him to fight Morrell Jr.! I've heard many times that when Boo-Boo was in the amateurs, the whole country thought he would be "The Chosen One!" Boo-Boo should've never swerved Jermell, and going to MatchRoom didn't help him either! He never got fights with Saunders, GGG, and Canelo! I guess that's not all his fault, but hindsight is 20/20!

I don't even know why Boots is at 147 he's already fought at 154lbs and he might even be a little bigger than Spence. Every time I see clips of him training or him just the gym in Phili regular he's looking like he's 170lbs+ so while Boots is good I just can't get with guys losing that much weight to a point where it's a built in advantage smh..That's why Spence career is going the way it's going and it's not going to get any easier for him at 154lbs now..

When you watch Boots fight do you honestly think he's winning because he's bigger? Its not like he's a face first wild swinging brawler. I don't know he has a big frame but he's out boxing dudes.

So he talks first, then he fights?

I thought with the development of Internet journalists would spell now better than then.

Yeah but would you rather get outboxed by a bigger dude or a little dude?

Where are the toxic Boots haters to accuse Boots of ducking Keef?
After Boots beats up Keef they’ll invent another “name” or “live body” that Boots should face to “earn a shot” at Bud.
