You could probably have taken a young Duran and told him "no matter what you do, when you get hit good, back off, go into a shell! I will give you a million dollers for doing so" and Duran would not be able to do it. Some guys just want to hit you back, get more aggressive, and I think this is a great instinct. McKean when he got buzzed by Rice shelled up. Can you even teach a guy not to do this?

McKean can box a bit but, unless what happened with Rice was a fluke, I don't see him being able to do much moving on up.
Hrgovic will knock McKean out. The only thing to debate is when this will happen. I say inside 5 rounds. McKean is not bad. He is not short ,with a short reach. He is big in shape man with a fair amount if power. Hs is not slow handed either. Probably a top 40 heavyweight. He is in his prime.

Why does he need to step up his competition , if he’s sitting on his mandatory spot waiting for Usyk next he wouldn’t be fighting on Saturday and fought Zhang , the only guy in the entire division sitting on anything is Fury not even fighting a pro boxer and sole fight he wasn’t mandated to fight so far was Chisora , if Hrgovic fought Chisora he’d have gotten murdered on here yet somehow the Fury fans made it as a decent stay busy fight the same guys who wanted Chisora to retire before that fight was made . Lol

DDD got a gift win against Kevin who ? The bell even rang early in that one . Who has he fought since being the WBA mandatory ? It’s always puzzling how the guy trying to get fights are the ones who are singled out on this forum , it’s just bizarre but not shocking . It’s alway a certain guy needs to fight everyone not the actual champions like Fury and Wilder who just sit back and watch the other top guys fight .

Usyk - Hrgovic is next, if both win their next fights. Probably in december.

Usyk -Fury will likely never happen and you know that.

Hrgovic had a close fight with Zhang, McKean had a close fight with Rice, who is journeyman level.

I haven`t seen much of McKean, but Hrgovic should be able to beat him clearly.

But, than again, Zhang almost lost to Forrest, but beat Joyce, so who knows.

Hrgovic really should be splattering Mckean, apparently that Leutele fight was razor close. But Leutele is no bum, he had Huni down in a very close fight.

I tied to send you a message, but you mail box is full.

I just want to say, you know your boxing. Good point on McKean being dropped. That is not well known. Are you Aussie?

In all he other fights expect for the top ten ranked Zhang when he had a crooked ref for Zhang ( the knockdown and the one that wasn't ) and had personal issues affecting him, Hrgovic was dominant in winning. Fans do not realize his first pro 15 fighters features better competition than Tyson, Lewis , or Fury. It's true. I am saying it to remind the haters and fans.

Go fish again. Zhang is a top 10 ten ranked fighter and showed it by pulverizing Joe Joyce

Hrgovic won the fight with Zhang, and suffered a dodgy knockdown we he was hit in back of the head and thrown down. Yet when he hit Zhang with a punch and made him do a spilt that wasn't a knockdown? BS ref.

Hrgovic was not focused due to the recent death of his father. The two men were very close. He admits to it being his worst performance because of that. He is not over rated. Only the haters would say that.

He will beat McKean and fights Usyk next, the #1 heavyweight in the world. Hrgovic fights his forth undefeated fighter in a row in McKean, has taken five 0's as in undefeated fighters records. It will be six.
