The fight was broadcasted on Sunday morning at 5am, for free, in Germany. That is a rather bad time to get broad attention. Getting 52% market share at that time is not difficult, since only the fanboys and the party animals on the way to bed are watching then.

I still was happy to set an alarm clock for the fight, 'cause it was worth it.

Still about 1.5 million viewers at that time...

You can't act like the replay of May/JMM didn't help that tremendously. Because it did.

Most people probably watched May Vs JMM then about the first 5 rounds of the VK fight and walked off.

I am American but find myself supporting more of the European fighters like the K-bros over the Hollywood diva fighters we have here, its a shame they act that way.
