Bodybuilder gonna fight "Helenius with one week prep"

Lmfao. Hearn found a huge dosser for his cash cow.

Well trained AJ against Helenius who fought last week.

Pathetic and crappy event for sure.

They should just have AJ shadow box for a round or two. That will satisfy Joshua fans. They'll say, "He never looked better!"

I get that it’s risky to take on a quality opponent on such short notice but this sucks worse knowing all of the decent heavyweights that offered to step in to fight Joshua. Does the fight even last long enough to actually benefit Joshua in any way other than financially?

Its not even one week. They announced the fight today (Tuesday) and Helenius is supposed to catch a plane and come to the UK tomorrow. There probably will be no sparring (in fight week) to keep the risk of injury away, so essentially Helenius will have no training camp at all. It really depends on how good of a shape he is in and how much he trained previously given the opponent was a really low-level fighter.

Lol, another confidence booster for AJ if he can KO Helenius faster than Wilder did. Not to mention, a gauge. If AJ can't put away Robert as equally fast, people might say, see? That's why AJ won't face Wilder. Or perhaps AJ blasts Robert out seconds sooner. That's why Wilder is scared. It's so dumb and meaningless fight.

Did you mean to say Joshua?

Either way, it is a last-minute fight where Helenius isn't given the opportunity to have any training camp and he ain't the fittest of them all.

Yeah that's what I meant. Typing at work never helps, lol.

Honestly, if Helenius comes out and gives some kind of test to AJ, it's going to boost Wilder's stock. Especially on such short notice.
