It made sense to me a few days ago. I thought if he was in decent shape after can smashing he should take the fat paycheck. Why not? Helenius is a name opponent & was Wilder’s last victim. It would also be interesting to see how well Joshua does against him. Joshua has the power to smash him early but is he willing to take those risks to land that big punch? Helenius was tailor made for Wilder just like Breazeale. Joshua doesn’t have the handspeed like Wilder but he is a better boxer. Helenius tried to be aggressive & use his size like Fury but he is simply not fast enough nor as skilled. One thing Helenius does well is counterpunch. If he can land a bomb will Joshua’s chin hold up? I expect Joshua to knock him out in the middle rounds…

He picked the most active one coming off a win . , Washington coming off 2 losses and hasn’t boxed in 8 months or so , Hrgovic is a southpaw no way either fighter wants that fight on a weeks notice , Chisora wouldn’t have take the fight fir the amount he wanted and guys like Kabayel priced himself out ,only Helenius was the more realistic option.

And anyone stating the card should have been canceled are beta males go bring your girl to go see Barbie or something if you don’t want to watch boxing .

Agreed. AJ should beat Helenius but the big Fin can crack hard and he can counterpunch. AJ would be wise to outbox and break him down.

Actually I was referring to Washington. I'm pretty satisfied with Helenius and hope he can score the huge upset!

AJ would be wise to tell Fast Eddie to slip a few extra reddies into Bob's pocket to ensure he follows the script.

Can't be having another cherrypick go **** up like fat andy.

If You want Helenius that shows how far down we got in this generation of understanding boxing …it’s like shooting down the guy who tried to make the division great . I get it though ,you guys like water down watering down eras that is what superates us from real boxing fans bc if Helenius wins you can kiss any mega fight goodbye starting with .Furybwho is trying to do that exacthi g,the only thing that is stopping him is Joshua and or a Usyk loss but keep being beta males on here . Smh

Been watching boxing since at least Holmes became a face you guys ? Not a chance .You don’t really know what should be what you make eras worse . Should Helenius win no one will fight anymore holding belts ..it’s a great problem with you guys .

Malik Scott is the best diving coach in the world. His work on Helenius vs Wilder was a masterclass in how to sell a flop in the first round.
What can you expect? He originated the technique.
I bet he gives Wilder foot massages and is like "yes sir my king what do you want me to make for dinner tonight".

You are wrong, totally. AJ is a fraud and has always been. He should have made a totally different career. Why he never faced Joyce and Zhang, for example? Why never Wilder when they both were champ? Even Wallin would have been a threat to AJ. Usuk is a much better boxer, and so is Fury (but the latter turned into a clown that only wants money, nowadays). My hope for Helenius is to get rid of a fake champ like AJ has been.

This entire thing here is garbage, it’s a waste of time . Why are you stating things without an ounce of anything of substance. Another poster here from bizarro world . Your in the right place though. Lol

Substance is simple. AJ was kd by a faded out of form Wlad, who was outclassed by Fury 2 years before. It was destroyed by a late replacement that had already be surpassed by Parker (that against aj was vastly limited by the bad Referee). AJ was able to best an ultra fat Ruiz only with the most irritating performance I had ever saw on a ring.

Whoever thinks AJ is a legit hw champ have to recognize the same for the likes of greg page or john tate or frank bruno ....
