Joshua should take the fight because if he can’t beat this basic ordinary old fighter he should throw in the towel now against Wilder or any top 15 heavyweight. Dammmm Joshua fight or quit!

Just cancel the card. It stinks for the undercard fighters but anyone realistic that Joshua can get at this late notice won’t put on a good show - and that will only alienate the ticket buyers and viewers even more than just canceling the card.

I'd rather see Del Boy get the nod. My guess is that would pull better numbers in the UK as well. Only problem is that makes for a much more dangerous fight for AJ as compared to Washington.

"Malik Scott, trainer for heavyweight contender Gerald Washington, says the boxer is ready and willing to fight Anthony Joshua on Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London."
Heavyweight contender??? Gerald Washington??? Who wrote this thing?? Yeah, I would only put "By Boxing Scene Staff" on that journalistic excellence too, as i would not attach my actual name to it or anything. Washington has managed, somehow, to carve out a nice career as a well paid sparring partner to the "B" level HW and above. He is a scrub, pure and simple. He is the PERFECT last second replacement. It is not like he was lined up for Chisora because he was not an easy out.
