I have to ask this in all the seriousness it entails … did you not read my question?
    Were Kavaliauskas and Avanesyan “proven”?
Who did they fight to warrant fights with Crawford?
Do they have better resumes than Boots?

Bro, you should not be asking these awful questions. Kavaliuskas' first step up was Bud Crawford, and it was only his 23rd fight, then he stepped up again to fight Ortiz at 25th fight. While your idol's first step up fight was Villa, and it's his 32nd fight. Question is what was Boots doing feasting on bums starting at 20th fight, at least? Did Dunkin and Bozy feed him with so many bums to pad his record, which is embarrassing?

These article writers truly have penchant for fantasy fights. They knew exactly these fights are not going to happen anytime soon. They should at least show a path that leads to making these fights happen. Meanwhile, is this guy going to play waiting game again as usual?

I wouldn't put my fighter if I was Boots manager in front of Bud yet.I would have him take someone like Thurman for a whooping, then Stanionis, but right now I think Boots may be making a mistake by taking on Bud right now, mistakes are what Bud thrives on ,the best counter puncher in boxing right now.Not Yet!!

Lucky for Ennis his promoter won’t let him take risks with MEDIOCRE fighters much less Crawford

My question is based on the nonsense casuals keep writing that Boots “ does not deserve” a shot at Crawford.
So let’s all agree that Boots is overrated and fights bums only. Ok? I agree with you.

Can you explain how Avanesyan and Kavaliauskas “deserved” to fight Crawford?
This is a purely logical question.

It goes without question that Boots Ennis is ready, willing and able to give Bud Crawford a good fight and a real run for his money. Also, in an ideal world Terence should give Jaron a title shot. He couldn't do any worse than Errol Spence did.

However, Crawford would never challenge him because he is at the tail end of his championship career. Whereas, Jaron Ennis hasn't even begun his after 30 fights in.

Boots should be focusing on fighting the Cody Crowleys, Vergil Ortiz’ and the Eimantas Stanionis’ of the world instead. Terence Crawford is going to be vacating the welterweight division and the welterweight titles soon.

So that should leave a power vacuum for all the younger welterweight contenders to compete and challenge one another. Besides, Bud is moving up to the 154 pound division anyhow; In order to challenge for a rematch with Errol Spence, Jr and a unification bout with Jermell Charlo.

The moment he does that then Crawford will vacate the titles. Bud is already on record stating that he doesn't want to fight him. His focus is on the rematch with Errol Spence, Jr and a title unification bout against Jermell Charlo both at 154.

If he is not ready to compete then Crawford should fight him as a cherrypick.
