Yeah, it’s not like Joyce got shutout and stopped because his entire career he’s shown an inability to move his head.

    THIS time will be different.

I'm not sure if you know what the term "shutout" means.

Multiple times now I've seen you use it incorrectly.

I agree with this. I do think it is a good question War Loon asks, because given the nature of rematches, when one guy wins, and the odds involved, it is strange the money line is so skewed towards Joyce. Unless Joyce was a big favorite going in.

I am trying to remember when it became apparent, during the rematch, thstat Ruiz was not preparing so much lol, I forgot if this figured into the odds a great deal, but it is correct that Joshua was, despite the upset, the logical choice to win. The other thing I can think of is Zhang's age and perhaps the sense that Joyce had some time to figure out a southpaw? But I do not know if JOyce fought a few South paws prior to Zhang lol.

Avoiding one punch from a fighter like Zhang and being defensively responsible definitely should be things Joyce could improve on... You got Joyce for this one? I do.

Joyce is only good against smaller guys, guys his own size that can take a punch are kryptonite. Anything can happen in the HW division, but any smart capper won't be laying units on the money line for Joyce. Unless Zhang has covid and just broke his leg, there is no reasonable thought to indicate Joyce can do anything different.

          Again, YDKSAB.
Joyce never had a strong punch, How do you figure taking a shot matters? Joyce overuns with activity no? I agree that backing up Zhang might be a problem, but wouldn't this have to do with Joyce's activity level, being able to hit Zhang regularly? So essentially Joyce is fighting a 40 year old, one armed fighter, with slow footspeed... He has to avoid the left, and be more defensively responsible. I can see the Bookies perspective, however picking Zhang, given the last fight, has possibilities.

So sad that this is what heavyweight boxing has been reduced to. These guys totally suck.
If it bugs ya so much... Here is a decent remedy: Watch women's boxing. Those two will look considerably better.

I do watch women's boxing. The top level women have way more skill than either of these two clowns. They don't have the strength or the size but at least Seniesa Estrada doesn't get tagged with the same slow motion punch 50 times in a row. At least Amanda Serrano can put together a 3 punch combination and not gas out and die.

and there was a bodybuilder that was previously hyped as some ATG talent for beating up 40 yr olds...yep this HW era is weak.

I think rematches end differently and those that don’t are under very slim circumstances..like I would pick Joshua over Usyk ina third fight just because I saw he had opportunities he let go away etc….I think rematches should actually be done with top guys because they often do not end the same and we get better fights off them history shows this .

Thats just one man’s opinion, I do believe Joshua has the best shot at Usyk since he’s fought him twice ,would others ? Not really . Usyk is that guy you got to really get a gage on ..in this instance Joshua has the best shot in that category…….I also think DDD will give him a hard time he has the blue print so I wouldn’t be shocked at all in that one if he won ,though he shouldn’t .

Boxing scene blue print ,jump right on the last winner of every fight and talk like you study fights and come up with actual credible points not just bc one guy lost the last fight,if it were a game and a team you guys would put the forum under and drowned it a long time ago .

Note : About 1. % on here actually watch fights over and try and break them down , the beta male era has really weakened the era ,thank god you guys are just a small forum in the big picture bc casually fans getting info from you guys would absolutely murder the sport . The OP himself has mental issues and buries himself without even realizing it ? Lol

Serrano's opponent had no head movement, chased a puncher all night and traded, with no strategy to be elusive, no back leg, no angles, no power... come on man lol. serrano and Estrada deserve better. The women are game but generally the quality of opposition after Shields and Serrano is crap, even worse than the lack of technique we see in this present heavyweight division.
