USADA is cut and dry. They dont go above or beyond what they list and test for. These days designer and synthetic drugs are on the rise and its done by changing the make-up of a banned substance. The chemistry change is so small, the banned substance still has the same effect but dont show on a drug screening.

VADA on the otherhand has Victor Cante, a felon behind BALCO whos now sworn to combat PED cheats. Imo to catch a criminal, you have to think like 1 which is why I think VADA catches the most minute forms of cheating. Cante goes above and beyond to stay on par or a step ahead of drug cheats.

The UFC signed an exclusive deal with USADA for a reason. If they wouldve signed with VADA most of their fight cards would be cancelled. USADA still catches UFC fighters but those guys typically arent guys that can afford the Memo Heredias of the world.

Lastly, (and a lil bit off topic) it always amazed me how John Jones and Floyd Mayweather have Low Testosterone. Its almost unheard of for an athlete especially an African American athlete to have Low Test. Would be interesting to hear Cante address this if he hasnt already.
