I thought there was a thread with that already.

Im not talking taller than Fulton Im talking bigger, same as TC with Errol its not height its all-round fuller, and I think if we had fight night weights it would show.
Being more lean/ripped will give you the illusion of being bigger, but both Errol and Fulton were the larger fighters. Just like how Canelo is always bigger, just shorter.

I’ve dropped 20lbs since December, but because I always worked out I look bigger now because of definition and vascularity

So here's what Inoue is going to do: he's going to KO Tapales (probably Rd 4) before the end of the year. That'll be a belt in 4 weight classes (and he skipped a class) and Undisputed in 2. Then he'll probably defend once or twice, depending on how Inoue and his camp are assessing his body.

But stop there for a second and consider what sort of accomplishment that would be: belts at 108, 112, Undisputed 118, Undisputed 122. Obviously HoF stuff right there.

Assuming he wipes out Tapales, perhaps destroys someone like Casimero (here come 13-year-old Filipino Casimero fans), and his weight is up properly, he's retaining his speed and all that -- then running down all the belts at 126 could take the rest of his career. Although that big Japanese market money he commands will certainly help make those fights.

Champion at 5 weight classes and Undisputed at 3 seems doable. If I'm Inoue and I accomplish that, I retire. But _maybe_ there's a big money fight out there, at 130. I doubt Tank would come down for that, and Inoue would have zero need to move up, as he would have had a feckin' legendary career.

About his ability to get bigger -- he does really have a petite upper-body, as far as his shoulder width and his slender bones. He's a pretty slightly-built guy, _other than his legs_ ... It's those big legs that had him at the same weight as Fulton, while still being completely ripped. He almost had Pacquiao legs on him. Fulton's chicken legs looked downright silly by comparison.

I don't know how much more beef he could put on his upper body and retain that speed. 126 probably works, but 130 is starting to get unreasonable. Any higher than that is silly.

Pretty much this. But if Inoue can get a belt in super feather in a timely manner, I can see him going for Tank even at lightweight, but only if Tank is holding at least two belts there

It doesn’t matter to me. My point is he’s too small to move up a ton of pounds, but if he does, he may get away with it by picking his opponents very carefully.

I feel like the boxing world and fans have forgotten what weight classes are and why we have them.

We are in the eras of multiple weight classes and fighters moving through them, lots of guys have moved up more than 10 pounds and have been successful, the thing with weight in fighters is going up will not hurt you like going down will, and many are finding this out.

It depends on what weight they would fight at. Inoue is a tornado. If Tank has to come down in weight I favor Inoue. Tank is getting older and making 135 is probably a bit hard but manageable. He can’t make 130 and beat Inoue.
