Boots is about 2 fights from being ready for Crawford. He still has a lot of holes in his defense. By that time, Bud will be 38 and likely retired or about to retire.

Boots isnt in the position to make demands. If Crawford goes to 154 next and boots is really about it then his ass can move up. Everyone want Mayweather money and wants to call the shots but they forget what did he do to become a superstar, he gave DLH every single demand he wanted to make the fight because he knew who had the power then.Comment

Boots knows this fight ain’t happening anytime soon
Why not a greater push to make this fight when those two were just playing games ?
This is what’s wrong with the sport
Knowing damn well that fugh all is gonna happen thus making some noiseComment

I've read that BoMac and team have been studying Boots since 2018 because they figured Bud would have to fight him at some point. I would love to know their strategy.Comment

Crawford should fight Ennis. Bud is now 35 years old and soon to be 36. From here on he should pursue fights against the next generation of fighters and the Charlo at 154.Comment

calling them out AFTER they have fights. You are aware that Boots was the wbo mandatory and removed himself. Mfers like to talk. I can go on social media and call out any fighter. That doesn't mean I want to fight them. haha. Boots never wanted that fight and the only people that believe he did are his fanbase.Comment

So Brook and Khan were just up and coming unproven contenders? As opposed to being former world champions just like Thurman was? Thurman also being a unified champion? And you forgot to mention Porter who was a worthwhile opponent, coincidentally first beaten by Brook. Sorry, I'm just putting this in casual terms for you to understand. Who's the casual again?
Perhaps Boots should fight Broner or Mathysse or Brandon Rios or even Khan and Brook since all are former champions.
Very worthwhile despite being years removed from being relevant. Perhaps that’s a good route to go
