Spence was fighting back in the whole fight. It wasn't like he was standing there taking shots the whole fight. He was slow, missing shots and getting countered like crazy. What happens in the rematch when he fights at 154 lbs, is more accurate, quicker and gets Crawford's respect. If other boxers can see that Spence was off, then we should all give him the benefit of the doubt and see what happens in the next fight. Hearns got a worse beating then Spence and went on to have a hall of fame career.

I been saying it all along and Porter knows the truth too, crawford beat a weight drained version of spence, spence looked tired after round one and he didn't even get caught with one punch while crawford looked fresh throughout the fight and spence's punches had zero effects because his power was gone from cutting too much weight, that's why pacquiao had always the advantage against the "bigger" guys he faced at a catch weight suitable to him. I doubt crawford would take the fight at 154 because he knows he can't beat spence if he comes in 100%Comment

Sure Spence could use the extra 7lbs but can Derrick add many tools to his toolbox by the time the rematch comes around. That is the real issue to me. Derrick has to rebuild AJ, Ryan and now add Errol to the list.
After what I saw saturday, I'm not even sure that Spence would be stronger than Bud even at 154lbs.Comment
