Overall boxing hasn’t been that great competitive wise across the board in any weight division and by the looks of it it’ll remain the same for a while

Well spence was a good opponent but marinating fight too long. So much can change. Wilder v josh shouldve happened years ago but it didn't and now they're not same as they were. Fury v usy k needs to happen now

I don't agree at all, boxing fans always need to complain about something. In the past 5-6 years there have been some seriously good fighters. The upcoming era hasn't yet formed, but there is a potential superstar in Enis and we must see what the future holds for the current top dogs

From 2020 to 2030, THIS is not their era technically.

Garcia, Spence, Crawford, Porter, Thurman, Khan, Brook are all the era of fighters who just came after 'Mayweather Junior's era'.

Right now the conclusion to that era is happening. The only fight really left to make is Thurman vs Crawford 'For that particular era'.

Crawford can fight many other fighters, who really are not classed as his era. Sometimes great fighters do that 'Sometimes they win, sometimes they don't'.

When Floyd Mayweather Junior fought Alvarez, he was fighting a Champion who was outside his era 'And he still beat him easy 12-0 to 12-1' etc.

Note: All time Great fighters have the ability at times to fight beyond their era, and beat great fighters from those era's 'Hopkins, Mayweather Junior, Pacquiao and many more fighters have done this'.

But sometimes era are so great as a whole, so fierce 'That multiple fighters actually beat back the next era trying to come through'. At Heavyweight in the 70's, this is what happened 'And Muhammad Ali was the last man standing from that era'.

I don`t see anybody giving Crawford a tough test at 147 right now. When he beats Boots, people will say Boots was not ready.

The zab judah - mayweather fight was almost 20 years ago and not "this welterweight era"

The division didn't live up to the hype due to errol and thurman out of ring issues. They were always inactive. Then add the fact that vergil and boots never got shots. Porter the only guy who got smoke with everybody

so we definitely miss multiple fights in the last 8 years since floyd retired.

Era is solid. Some fans just like to complain about anything and focus on the negatives

Just like Floyd had Manny and SRL had Hearns, Spence had a top p4p opponent in Bud.

He just lost and the era now belongs to Crawford.

Floyd's era didn't have a p4p undefeated african american beast challenging him. He had maidana and robert guerrero. In fact porter and thurman were here too. Now you have ennis. Floyd's era had no top african americans like today's era.

Thurman porter spence BUD and ennis alone wipe the floor with floyd's era.
