i knew the highlight reel was coming but Oscar quit....IMO, PAC was gonna go full blast in that round...i think DLH gets dropped in that round and the ref stops it
    I can not concur, sir.

Ar no point did I see Oscar's knees buckling or looking like he was on his way down. I didn't see a disoriented look. I just don't see Oscar going down from what he was taking.

Oscar was cowering, but not getting hurt. Oscar said it was the speed, not the power, of the punches. It was a Calzaghe-esque assault.

who gives a **** about DLH's resume when he lost all of his big fights...period.

thats like saying. i have a great resume b/ci fought the best fighters of my time and LOST, haha, shut the **** up

Pac fought people out of their prime and lost to JMM.

Cotto will get his ass beat by floyd
Pac fought people out of their prime? He beat the best and biggest names at the weight classes he competed in. Now he's taking on one of the top Welterweights who Floyd ducked for years. May also ducked Mosley and Margarito. Saying you wanted to fight Mosley and actually doing it are 2 different things. Who did Manny duck? Juan Diaz? Guzman? Who the **** is he? Sorry, but Joan Guzman never deserved a shot and has never proved himself to be elite against a top fighter. Pac even fought Hatton at his best weight, while Floyd forced him to move up like did he against Marquez. Pac moves up to fight bigger competition, which is something Floyd used to do but now he makes smaller guys move up to fight him, rather than accept challenges from real Welterweights. He is afraid of risking his 0, and I wouldn't be surprised if he fought someone smaller like Bradley, or even Guzman.

DLH B-class? Who gives a **** about his resume? Critics, fans, and the entire boxing world gives a ****. He almost beat your man-crush Floyd, so what does that make him. You believe JMM beat Pac. Fair enough. Then, Jose Luis Castillo beat Floyd the first time.

again. i dont give a **** about the judges cards. anyone watching that fight and looking at connect percentages saw DLH wasnt landing much of anything.

floyd has been fighting guys bigger than him, while pac was fighting guys smaller than him.

Floyd called out Cotto and mosley who both didnt want to fight him. they ducked him, he didnt duck them.

Floyd even said he would fight Marg but if he did, he wanted cotto as well for 10mil. Top rank didnt wan tto agree to that so floyd moved on.

so stay in your fantasy land of floyd ducking and dodging when you know its the furthest thing from the truth.

I don't think Oscar would have been stopped but apart from that being KO:d and carried out is always worth more respect then qutting in your corner. Fighting is fighting and quitting is quitting.

BS. Floyd didn't land **** until the second half of the fight when he took over the score cards. De la Hoya jabbed the **** out of Floyd and made it look easy the first half, but hurt his shoulder. He kept lazily throwing his jab with less force and his accuracy suffered because of that.
Floyd never called out Margarito or Cotto. You're delusional for even mentioning that. He turned down $9 mil to fight Margarito to fight Baldomir for $8 mil. Floyd took less money for less risk. You have your facts all screwed up. You hate on every fighter except your boy Floyd. I'm done arguing with a ******.

no. he turned down 8mil for a fight with Marg b/c top rank didnt want to throw cotto in there for 10mil as well if he fought Marg. which is what he asked for.

they didnt want to give him cotto for 10mil if he fought Marg. so he said **** toprank

You are correct Mr. Threadstarter! Had DLH had not quit, he was getting the worst beating in his life that he did not want to get knocked out by a MIDGET!

The biggest embarrassment was Oscar on the scales , weigh-in 145 and put on only 2lbs when he is normally 160 , that was a training disaster , Roach said on seeing that he is good for 2 rounds ,,,,,, I love Manny as a fighter but this was a gimme fight the moment Oscar blew it so badly on the scales making him a waif with nothing in the tank , Off course he was going to be stopped the man was a rag .
