Great night for combat sports in general, a dominant perfomance by TC with a stoppage included and one of the best KOs of the year in mma with that perfectly placed high kick from my boy Gaethje , both made easy work out of Spence and Dustin respectively.

Ever since Jack Johnson won and held the heavyweight championship over a century ago, people have claimed “boxing is dead” and I’ve learned the people who say that are upset that boxing doesn’t feature cha lions they themselves cannot identify with. Last week proved just how globally alive boxing isComment

Read my post it is not debatable imo regarding his speech at least. There is a night and day difference. He's like 30% slower in his talking. Watch interviews from 2020 compared to this year.
All of this may be accurate but I would ask why his trainer, the man who spends the most time with him in training camp, sparring and pushing himself physically and mentally, didn't notice anything different about Errol. James has known Spence for an awful long time. You would think if something was seriously wrong neurologically, he would never have let Spence take the fight. To be honest, Spence has always talked slowly with that southern drawl. Whether his speech has gotten worse since the accident is debatable.
I'm no doctor and I'm not going to assume I know whether there is any truth to this theory or not until it comes out definitively from a respected, legitimate source. I don't take any "doctor" on youtube seriously regarding any sort of diagnosis, especially on a complex neurological level. Spence needs to undergo serious testing and a series of brain scans and analysis by reputable neurosurgeons if his family, friends and associates have noticed a decline in his mental function or ability to speak properly. I wish him nothing but the best. He has always been good for the sport and a classy, respectful individual.
ANyway I'm a Bud fan wanted him to win there is no agenda here, I've just always been shocked at Spence's slow, glazed over demeanour post accident. Like he's lost 25% of himself in that accident. But few mention it.Comment

I now believe that if Pacquiao had fought Spence he would have beat Spence. I also believed that after Spence fought Ugas. Spence was not the same fighter he had been. Crawford is the best welterweight in the world right now, but the Spence he beat was washed up. Spence needs to retire, he looks like he is half asleep.Comment

I was at a bar that had both Ppvs playing. About two-thirds of the place emptied out after the boxing ended. Mind you this was just as the UFC main event was about to begin.
Take from it what you will, maybe those who ate primarily UFC fans are more likely willing to pony up the cash to watch from homes relative to boxing fans. But even those there for the UFC turned away towards boxing for Crawford v Spence.Comment
