Huh? He legitimately has a detached retina.

Also, a point people are missing here is that neurological damage tends to be degenerative. You can find posts where although Spence was winning against Danny and Ugas, I saw that his balance looked off. I think the end result of both fights masked the other stuff.

Because he had a detached retina, did you see how easy Ugas beat Manny and did you see how much Ugas was beat to fck with Spence, pull your head out of Mannys ass its a new era and Manny isn't in the conversation, time to move on.

His speech after the fight was absolutely like any boxer that is punch drunk , and his balance was extremely off . I said after the fight he looked like he took a 5th of melatonin, if the people close to him care for him they would encourage him to retire. At the very least I would not put him in there against BUD again maybe attempt a run at 154.........
Yup... having been in a couple of wrecks, its true.

His balance was it’s worst vs Ugas, but stumbling was also his favored mode of travel vs Porter. Spence’s main problem is he’s an alcoholic which is aging him quick. Even post car crash there have circulated footage of an inebriated Spence. Hell, in the lead up to the Crawford fight he admitted in an interview he was still partying and drinking after the car crash.
Damn Wicked Damn Wicked likes this.

They let Ali fight with Parkinson's because not only did he need the money, it made money for everyone involved.

Now I agree if these things are true, someone should have stepped in but most people DGAF about other people.
Yea some fighters don't know when to quit

Roy Jones should have been retired but that didn't stop him from fighting

Just add it to the excuse list that wasn't there an hour before the fight, I wonder if Fulton has a list like the growing list for Errol, I bet if his fight was in the US Inoue would be hearing a bunch of excuses as well, sometimes the other guy is that much better, put a racehorse in with a pony and he wins by a mile because his legs are longer this is the mentality of fans, TC been getting everyone outa there its not like Errol is his first stoppage.

Spence has been showing a lot of warning signs.
The accident can be equivalent to being brutally KOed, a career changing incedent.
