So there's rumblings about Spence's health.

I've been tapping into a lot of post fight discussions and one channel was discussing Spence's neurological state leading into and during the fight. Basically they are saying that he was compromised due to trauma from the car crash plus wear and tear from his lifestyle outside of the ring, and constant weight cuts.

As examples, they used his speech pattern changes, the look on his eyes (glassy eyes), and his lack of balance. I think it's very interesting and they also said that they think PBC and team Spence knew about his decline and tried to keep it under wraps. They even mentioned during the fight when the Doctor got into the ring after the 3rd round which seemed to be unprompted considering it was still so early into the fight which leads to believe they had a quick trigger regarding him because of what everyone in the know, knew

It's some scary **** to be honest because I really like Spence as a fighter and person so I hope if there is some measure of truth to this, that he protects his health going forward.

He did, doesn't also mean there weren't signs. I think multiple things can be true and this is as someone that feels no version of Errol beats Bud.

I don't buy the excuses. If there were truly something that wrong with him they'd have pulled him from the fight, just like they pulled from from the Pacquiao fight when it became clear he had the retina problem.

I had Spence by UD, BUD beat the Texas BBQ out of him all credit to him . With that said that car crash would have probably killed most people 9/10 times anybody that says you get back to 100% after that is lying . His speech after the fight was absolutely like any boxer that is punch drunk , and his balance was extremely off . I said after the fight he looked like he took a 5th of melatonin, if the people close to him care for him they would encourage him to retire. At the very least I would not put him in there against BUD again maybe attempt a run at 154.........

Bro, you act like you don't know how the world works. Spence probably wanted the fight to go along more than anyone because of the money. He literally said it in the last press conference before the fight that his goal was to be rich. They let Ali fight with Parkinson's because not only did he need the money, it made money for everyone involved.

Now I agree if these things are true, someone should have stepped in but most people DGAF about other people.

If this is true Spence's team should be held accountable.

Crawford is just a better fighter

That doesnt necessarily mean he hasn't got problems though. He sounds completely punch drunk. I know he's always had that lazy sounding voice and accent but go and listen to him a few years ago and listen to him now and he was far more lucid back then. I even made a thread about it before the fight because it was so obvious.

How can that crash help? Even if it caused minimal damage and he fought afterwards, that doesn't mean he hasn't been making the damage worse from months of sparring etc

its can be both true that Crawford is simply better and Spence also has issues from the crash and weight and whatever else. The guy looked zonked out before even fought, let's be real.

Maybe he knows it too. He might know he's done and he finally decided to fight Crawford once or twice for the big money before retiring.

I belive Crawford is just much better regardless but there's no way you couldn't look at spence and listen to him in the lead up to the fight and not think something is off with him. He looked half asleep in the changing room before the fight.
