Perfect comparison. AJ needs 2 good wins to reach championship level again. Usyk is different. If he beats Dubois as I think he will, he will be the most prominent hw in activity. Even more than Fury.

Sure, sure..Eddie Hearns's thoughts on Tyson Fury are sooooo relevant. And honest too, right.

To Be a "Modern day Great", huh?

What does it take to become one?
Beating Klitschko in a landslide and ripping the real title from him, then going 2-0-1 against an undefeated champion making his 11th title defense, the hardest hitting big man since Foreman; Toying with the King of MMA in a clean fight, being the last man standing of the three kings of the post Klitschko era......that doesn’t do it????

I'm of the opinion that NEVER EVER getting beat up against the likes of Buster Douglas, Evander Holyfield, Danny Williams, Kevin McBride, John Ruiz, Michael Moorer, Chris Byrd, James Toney, Larry Donald, David Tua, Sultan Ibragimov, Nickoli Valuev, Vitor Belfort, Eliseo Castillo, Andrew Golota, Oliver McCall, Hasim Rahman, Ross Puritty, Corrie Sanders, Lamon Brewster, Anthony Joshua, Andy Ruiz Jr and Oleksandr Usyk is a standard that CERTAINLY must be considered.

Seems to me that of all the Post Holmes greats, Tyson Fury is the only one to pass muster, using that standard.

As for the work that's left remaining for Tyson Fury to earn the distinction of a "Modern day Great"??.....

It would help Tyson an awful lot if Anthony Joshua, Andy Ruiz Jr, Anthony Joshua, Oleksandr Usyk and (Somewhat likely) Daniel Dubois would STOP BEING A MOVING TARGET.

Think above the silliness. At least try.

The time frame from Fury vs Kiltschko & Kiltschko vs Joshua was 17 months, not 2 years '2 years would of been 24 months'.

And as I have just stated, Kiltschko never retired he was always preparing for a fight HIS rematch against Tyson Fury 'But he was denied the opportunity to win his titles back, because Fury kept on pulling out of their scheduled rematch'.

Wladimir Kiltschko vs Anthony Joshua is the greatest Heavyweight title fight of the past 25 years. Joshua scored a more conclusive win over Kiltschko 'Kiltschko was beaten up and knocked out'.

Tyson Fury has barely fought at World level outside of Kiltschko and Wilder, is his next fight at World level? Was his last fight before that at World level? No.

There is definitive evidence out there, that since the Wilder trilogy 'Since Fury was battered by Wilder. Because it was not a easy trilogy, Fury only had 1 dominant win vs Wilder II and even that fight was stopped controversially.

All the other fights Fury was being battered, until he got the win. The realty of the situation is, since those fights it looks like Fury does not want to fight actual World level boxers anymore.

It is just the way it is mate, if you want to make things up and alter history as a coping mechanism to deal with the reality of the Fury's terrible reign of late 'That is entirely up to you, go for it'.

I have said it before, and I will say it again. Tyson Fury's hardcore fans, on a weekly and monthly basis lie and betray themselves 'This kind of behavior actually piped down a few months back. Now it looks like certain folk want to return back into that abusive relationship dynamic as a hardcore Fury fan'.

You will get people who will agree with you mate, all the Fury cronies 'But that does not alter boxing history'.

The most conscious and balanced Hardcore Fury fans 'Don't say the things you are saying and talk like you. None of them will come up in this thread quote me and say anything of note. Because deep down they know the situation with Tyson Fury, so they are all quiet'.

Tyson Fury is the WBC Heavyweight Champion of the World, and he barely ever fights at World level. Even his own brother in a recent interview, has stated 'That he does not rate Fury as a great Champion because he much prefers being a underdog in his own words.

And I myself, have always been adamant that Fury does not like being a World Champion. He does not like the requirements or mandates as a Champion 'Fury excels or much prefers to be a underdog, Robin Hood the prince of thieves'.

Note: If Joshua beats Wilder, it alters the entire dynamic at Heavyweight. Because Fury won't be able to claim that he was the only fighter to beat Wilder and overcome his power 'And that is essentially the big part of Fury's reputation and credit in the game since his Kiltschko win'.

Joshua has most likely overachieved in his career. Fury in comparison, and even right now as a Champion is underachieving 'Fury should be fighting at a level, but he is not. And Fury's hardcore fans should be concerned about these methods' etc.

Tf is wrong with u? Lmao. U can’t really be that daft. U claim fury has 2 fights at the world level? I stopped reading after that. The klitsko that fought AJ was inactive and that was literally his last fight. Ur posts are a great laugh please continue

I’m just so unbelievably confused as to why people think usyk is some generational amazing never seen before talent? Biggest win is AJ who everyone can see is a fighter that ain’t very good and never really was

            food for thought
Haha I feel you brother. My blood is Russian but even I have to admit Usyk is a G. Road warrior. 10th pro fight, he goes TO Poland to fight an undefeated 26-fight veteran Pole Glowacki. Toys with him. Doesn't look back. Enters the WBSS. First goes to Germany to fight adopted German Huck. Stops him. Goes to Riga. Lucky to get the decision and leave unblemished against the Latvian Briedis. I thought Briedis earned the draw. Fights the undefeated Ossetian Gassiev in Moscow. Wow, Simferopol in Moscow. Ends Gassiev's credibility over 12 rounds. Goes to heavy. Joshua? Everyone thought Joshua was gonna finger the cruiserweight. Instead the cruiserweight ******** the British *****. Twice. And if the British RV dweller that currently holds the WBC title ever finds his balls, we'll have another two-division undisputed champion like Crawford.

            War Usyk.
