Comments Thread For: Hearn: Wilder Fight Will Be Dependent on Joshua Getting Victory in Whyte Rematch

Great stuff by Hearn keeping Joshua in the spotlight. Fights were set in stone for December but once Warren woke up from being battered and took back control the dates have slipped. Saudis know that it is the undisputed fight that gets the eyes on it.

So if I read that correctly these Saudi cards are not promoted by heard but by a Saudi outfit so fighters from other promotions can show up on these cards?

Joshua really doesn't want to fight Wilder.

Hearn still controls the promotion and who goes on the card .

Wilder is looking to face someone and trying to bait Ruiz down with his wild money requests and get that going , if not ,to wait until jan-march (or whenever) to fight in Saudi , if that show doesn't stop moving back and does get made , would be too long out of the ring and ridiculous. It's all if's and buts with Hearn as usual , IF Joshua wins his next fight , IF Wilder fights and wins his , it's no wonder we don't see any action! Spense v Crawford showed huge fights can be made with out Saudi involvement, in a real fight atmosphere , with real fans of the sport, the way any sport should be !

Wilder & Usyk are signed with SEC i thought. The Saudis approached Wilder. So wouldn’t that make Hearn only the co-promoter? If Joshua loses to Whyte SEC will just take Wilder in another direction without Hearn having anything to do with it.

I would be shocked if Whyte wasn’t in great shape for the Joshua rematch. A win might not guarantee him the Wilder slot in Saudi Arabia but it sure puts him in a great position to be considered for it. At the very least he gets another big money fight in the near future.

Saudis don’t promote fights , whoever is promoting a fight promotes it under their event . If Wilder loses purse bids to Joshua it’s not a PBC or Haymon promotion it’s a Matchroom and DAZN show where Hearn can put anyone he wants in the card . Skill challenge isn’t a promotion company it’s a brand as far as I know ? Sighning to them means you fight in Saudi and representing their events but it’s not a promotion company, Usyk as far as I know is still got the Usyk 17 promotion behind him ? Unless things changed ? The original set up was skill challenge was just there to get fights done and let promotion companies iron out the fights to happen . But then Usyk is fighting in Poland next so idk ?

IF he beats Whyte, lol. Man, Whyte ain't beating anyone with a pulse. Hearn's spin is childish.
