We really have to see how Spence’s career plays out and if/how he bounces back from this. However, I and many people gave Kovalev the first Ward fight which by far trumps any win on Spence’s career so far.

Crawford is much better than ward. Ward really couldn't box very well which is why he always resorted to wrestling which is clearly illegal. The super six was setup on his favor and that was that, the kovalev fight was a dominating loss. Manufactured career fueled by politics not skill. The only somewhat clean victory he has is frock and second half devolved into WrestleMania to stop frochs momentum

He is in that level, maybe a little above those, but is nothing special, his career is not special too.

Valdez against guys of the boxing level of Danny, Porter, would be competitive.

            He was overrated.

Spence has 0 notable wins against a Hall of fame champions or A class elite fighter

kovalev is the better fighter, perfect example of a boxer/puncher.

He deserved the nod against ward in the 1st fight and the 2nd the shots were low, not golota low but still.

Ward was a potentially atg talent, but he spent too long on the sidelines and retired too young. Crawford has accomplished more than ward and still has time to acomplish even more

Spence isn't that good, he struggles with people in his 1st weight class, unlike Inou e who obliterated everyone in 1st weight class so had to move up. Yes, spence has been a WW for long time so has some good wins, but theres a difference between having picked up some good wins than dominating opponents easily
People say spence is a pf P fighters as all things being equal spence could best anyone? So why he havingdifficulty in maiden weight class?
Id say kovalev is greater than spence pfp, I think kovalev could have stepped up weight and had success

Kovalev by a country mile. He was P4P when he beat Ward (for the few minutes before the establishment robbed him).
