Devin Haney was also a free agent for a long time before he signed with Hearn.
And now that he's a free agent again, Haymon still has no interest in him.
Even though most of Haney's fans are PBC followers.

I don't really doubt that Haymon is the reason this fight didn't happen earlier.

I would guess it was more that he was close to Spence or that Crawford wouldn't fully commit to him.

He rightfully gave Bud a good chance of winning, so avoided it for his boxer. Guessing he's tied Crawford up for a few fights now just to make it happen.
