Maybe at 154 Spence will be more durable, which is't a good thing because all that will do is prolong his beat down.

Spence is the one who's struggling to make 147 and generally seen as the bigger fighter but I don't see it. From the waist up, Crawford looks bigger than Spence to me. His torso is wider and thicker, his arms and shouder are bigger and his head is also bigger. A true physical specimen.Comment

Crawford can fight Spence again but it won't be popular. Too bad Charlo is soon to get beaten up by Canelo or he could be next for Bud.Comment

Should there be a rematch? I don't believe so. Will I watch it if it happens? Yes! It should be as entertaining as the first time around....if not more.
There have been rematches that have surprised. Leonard VS Duran 2, Terry Norris VS Simon Brown 2, Roy Jones Jr VS Tarver.
I don't believe Spence can win a rematch - and weight has nothing to do with it. He looked like an amateur against Crawford. I don't think James and Spence can make the necessary adjustments.
But. Spence has the right to excercise a rematch. And I'll watch it out of curiosity. I also won't mind being surprised. That's one of the reasons I love this sweet science.Comment

At 154 there will be some reasons to think the fight could be more competitive. No saying it will, because my boy Bud is - to quote Sade - "a souped up car in a rental go kart town." But, watching the fight back, Errol did some good stuff in there. It was a dominant performance to be sure, but it wasn't completely one-sided. So, maybe at a higher weight and a new strategy it could be more competitive. As elated as I am for Bud (him and Thurman are my guys) - I'm a little sad for Spence who I always liked/appreciated and seems like a really good dude.Comment

4truth is right I remember thinking Spence was having neurological issues when ugas caught him with those shots but then I saw the video of Spence saying he wasn’t hurt and thought his teeth got knocked out. Spence looked and sounded terrible last night. It really was sad to watch No rematch

I think that having an immediate rematch doesn’t make sense for Spence if he isn’t trying to become undisputed anymore. If they fight at 154 there will be nothing at stake but pride. Why not have a couple of tune up fights and victories to get his confidence back up on the lead up to a fight with either Tim Tszyu or a rematch with Crawford? No tune ups sounds cool but it’s probably not the smartest move for him at this point. No need to do an immediate rematch if he has given up on his goal of becoming undisputed at welterweight.Comment
