Cruz has never separated in fights, this is how a lot of his fights are. He's a tough out for anyone, but almost never truly impresses imo. I look at Frank Sanchez similarly, put him against a top opponent and he will be a challenge, but try to showcase them and it's usually a tough watch.

I hope PBC starts feeling themselves with these latest matchups and opens things up, stop trying to save these dudes or promise them certain fights and not staying sharp or creating their own path. Cruz only exists for Tank, his cheeks have "only for Tank" tatted on them. Cmon bro

Cruz has been stinking it up on PPV, getting way too much of a pass. On top of it all, he's taking many liberties, lowblows, smothering himself, headbutts. He's needs a fight with some real stakes. Put him in with someone with real promise and see what happens, will he step his game up.

Cruz v Edwin De Los Santos

Cabrera has such a frustrating style. Hard to watch.
Cruz made adjustments after 3rd and was able to close the distance and light up Gio the Giraffe
Credit to Cabrera, he happened to have a chin and did not fold like I thought he would.

Cruz is not a one-dimensional fighter as he is perceived.
He can adapt during the fight to deliver his power and cut the ring off better than others.

I agree. Whatever little success Cabrera had was not enough to offset the much bigger and clearer punches Cruz was landing; hard pressed to give him any rounds. Judging continues to prove to be inadequate at best or completely corrupt.

i agree except i probably view pitbull a better fighter but let's give cabrera the credit too, he was pretty good at dictating the distance in many of the rounds ....i think he probably would've won had he threw a lot more, i think that was the difference!

I agree with Cruz. With as many power shots Cabrera ate how the hell did that one judge saw him as the winner.

The people that say he dominated 8-9 rounds are straight up lying.

I would love to see that fight. But we all know Cruz spends most of his time outside of Tanks house hoping he would throw him some scraps. And to me that is just pathetic.
Anyhow, if he did fight Edwin and Edwin decided to box like he did with Adorno I can see him frustrating Pitbull. They won't take that fight.

Cabrera did not land shots, look the face of Cruz, Cabrera was not able to land good shots.

So, he did not win more than 3 rounds.

Edwin Is a very very good fight, AND a fight with cruz would be 50-50.

But adorno Is not near of the level of Cruz.

And Davis Is a superior boxer than Edwin, and he could not box cruz AND His counters were neutrilized by Cruz defense.

And Edwins chin Is not proven.

But would be an amazing fight.
