I have 2 thoughts about why Hopkins kinda cried in the post Pavlik fight.

Youre right but when a fighter does something like this it isnt put on the front page the same as if he were to call another fighter trash or goto jail. Ive read alot about Bhop and seen some documentries about him. But nothing like this was ever spoken of. Im not saying hes incapable of doing it, im just saying if you left names out of this article and left it up to the reader to guess the boxer involved. Would your first guess be Bhop?

Exactly, noone know about the charity events he conducts and pays for out of pocket, or how some years he buy damn near half the kids grand rapids winter jackets or how hes paid off a waiter morgage with a tip. All we see and hear is the bad they do.

all that **** u said he did is BS. he robbed ppl on the streets to eat, stole cars and such. yes it was wrong but he was a young man at the time with no positive male influence. he went to jail and he did what he had to do to survive, fought when he had to. but he only did what he had to, he put all his effort into turning his life around, picked up boxing again and went on to become MW champion. once out of jail he stuck to his new lifestyle. lived clean, trained hard and was in general a model citizen. which he has been ever since he got out of jail over 20 years ago, i dont think its fair to judge him for things he did as a young man when hes in his 40's. i mean lets be real, lots of fighters come from troubled backgrounds. they deserve props for turning their lives around, not to be judged for the rest of their lives. hopkins gives back more to his community than any other currently active fighter. talks to kids on a regular basis, including going back to his old prison. flyd gives alot of his money to those less fortunate, hopkins gives his time aswell.

Dont get your panties in a bunch.Your right ive never heard this before today. But this the only article youve ever read and you just so happened to skip all the articles about how hes a convicted felon, convicted of 9 counts of aggrevated robbery with a deadly weapon. Or any of the articles and interviews he ahs given about prison life how and the things he did while in prison.Theres even stories of him raping several men while incarerated.So If youve read all those articles, seen the documentries and interviews you wouldnt think that Bhop acting this way would be unusual.

First point is not true, it was strong armed robbery, not armed robbery, which means he beat the hell out of the people he robbed with his fists and not witha gun.

Second part was way out of left field, and I hae never read anything about this or heard him say anything about raping inmates, and I have seen a lot of Hopkins related articles and interviews.
