Every time a PBC fighter steps up, this happens.

We're talking about who is the best. PBC tried to monopolize the sport and failed. Remember they were going to create their own belts. Whenever the best from PBC fights the best from Top Rank they lose. Even a Lomachenko with only 2 fights schooled Gary Russell.
How is a boxer a fraud if he loses to a better boxer?
Would Manny be a fraud losing to Horn?
Youre mad because PBC hasnt folded. Youre also incensed they make money by marketing and promoting their fighters to fans that want to see them. Not guys like you that hate them for reasons that are obvious.
Tank and Wilder are great examples of your bias. Since when does how a boxer is marketed impact you as a fan?
Rolly is also a great example. He isn’t talented but he does what is needed to bring attention to himself and sell seats. Your anger should be directed at the boxers and promoters you like that dont do that.
Take Crawford. His first fight with PBC and Eminem escorts him to the ring. He comes with the big fish net. Stuff TR never does to help raise a guys profile.
The disease is you still hating PBC because it’s run by a black man and because Floyd beat Manny.
Just remember PBC got Manny his highest paydays.Comment

Dude the belt thing was ages ago. They tried to monopolize as a response to being kicked off of HBO.
PBC has given you the biggest fight of the year and the biggest event of the year. You guys that dont like them for other reasons fail to point this out.
PBC has Canelo and Tank signed to deals. They are the biggest revenue generators outside of HWT.
You sure about that? loma was better than GRJ. But GRJ took the fight.
Again, how is losing to someone considered better make you a fraud?

Indeed, it has ofter been said by knowledgeable people in the boxing game that TR has the best matchmakers in terms of developing talent so if can't make it to the Championship level while being on TR, you are simply not the goods, like you've stated see Zurdo and Berlanga. I'm pretty sure TR regrets having Zayas as co-main event to Berlanga and not the other way around. The promotional fanboying on here is lame, but the different promoters do have different philosophies when handling talent, in terms of who they sign and how they match them. Note how in a lot of those matchups it was TR fighters (or ex-TR-fighters if we're talking Crawford-Spence) who beat the PBC guys.
TR don't sign as many fighters as PBC but imo they have the best talent scouts and often sign up great fighters when they are young. Nobody knew Crawford when they first signed him. They prioritise the best Olympians like Floyd, DLH, Loma, Stevenson, Robiesy. Arum also has strong ties with Warren in the UK, the top Japanese promoter, and Zanfer in Mexico. So he's better connected to sign up guys like Fury, Inoue and other elites.
Arum also cuts guys loose when they don't measure up, like he did with Berlanga and Zurdo. Hearn and DLH ended up paying them big money to be average instead.
Arum obviously has lots of flaws. He should've made the Crawford-Spence fight years ago. I do dislike Spence having a 'I'll clean up my side of the street first' attitude, but if Arum had offered to do the fight on 60-40 terms one fight deal years ago, I think PBC accept. Crawford would've won, been a big name, undisputed, and then a year down the line could've negotiated a rematch with 60-40 or better terms in his favour. Would've been much better for Bud and for Arum but not Arum's style to do that.
So all the promoters have flaws but I do think these PBC fighters losing is more than just coincidence. Tank did beat Garcia in a big cross-promotional fight though so it's not all one-way traffic.

I liked PBC in the beginning.
They were giving us lots of free fights on free TV & building a stable, but over time, they lost their way.
Their fighters don't fight, when they do it's usually against inferior competition, and they seem to have this cult around Al Haymon/Mayweather that makes them almost as unbearable as the Canelo fangirls.Comment
