All these maggots coming outta the woodwork with ah Spence is overrated he's this he that. What have you all done so great in a boxing ring that warrants you flapping your gums like that it's embarrassing to read it from grown men who can't fight for ****. Both men deserve props for the fight not tearing down and dissecting by some braindead goofballs on here.

He never fought against any great puncher in his career.
Brook was not a great puncher with crazy power.
Danny Garcia? Pillow hands in welterweight division.
Porter? Another guy without power.
Ugas? another guy without power.
Spence was too overrated by the american media, but he has a career fighting with champions that are not in the top-40 of best welterweight in history.
This was the first big puncher he faced and he looked like bamby.
He is only a champion in one division, he could not take the power in 154 or 160.
Crazy people think he had a chance against Canelo in 160...
But well, Spence defense is garbage, very slow, very basic.
First good fighter and he looked like crap.
Porter was his best fighter, a guy that was schooled by Diaz when he was young, and Danny Garcia was schooled by an old Morales.
Very overrated fighter, good fighter, not elite and his career is pretty normal.
He is not even better than an old Donaire that proven better quality being an old man against a killer like Inoue in his first fight.
Listen, is easy put pressure against guy without power or without power with skills.
Thats what Spence did his whole career, first big puncher with skills and he was destroyed.

Anybody gets hit like that and they’re going to be stopped. Crawford is clearly a big puncher who was landing almost 60% of his power shots.
it wasn’t Spence’s chin that was exposed it was his lack of skill. He was outclassed and beaten up by the stronger more skillful guy. If anything, Crawford showed that his chin is elite because Spence got in some good shots that Crawford ate like skooby snacks. The same shots that Spence has used to break all of his other opponents down.

Spence has a Big heart and thats the reason he still going on, but his chin is weak
Simple, he was floored in round 2, early, by a punch that was a jab.
He was hurt against guys without power like Porter and Ugas.
Thats clearly a bad chin.
He was floored 3 times and was in Bamby legs all the fight
Crawford was his first elite fighter as rival

To me it showed how much chin he had. He was getting slapped around and even landed his backside but (like many strong chinned fighters) got back up.
He was still able to fight on to some level.
It had to be stopped because he was not able to challenge Bud any more.
It was over.

Bingo. You could really break up Chin thresholds into two categories. First is what it takes to wobble the guy and second is what it takes to finish them off. Now some like a khan can get sparked clean out pretty easy but spence here he had a low thresh hold to get wobbled. we seen him wobbled many many times. It takes a lot to finish him off but I wouldnt call it a good chin. You want to see a good chin look at Caberra on the undercard eating flush shot after flush shot with no reaction, that is a granite chin right there.
Spence just has an ability to stay in "bambi legs" mode for a good duration and eat more shots before fully going out. Which actually is not a good cababilty, loss of cordination is a sign of temperary brain damage, its better for you to just go out and end the fight than take more punishment. I hope spence doesnt end up a vegetable.billeau2

even the Final Stoppage, Spence was on his feet
Bud Crawford is just that good too though, on a historical Knockout Streak, doesn't mean others will have the same success because those others are not anywhere close to Bud Talent and Skill LevelLast edited by sicko; 07-30-2023, 01:13 PM.
