Spence doesn't do the things you mentioned, he doesn't come in at angles. He stays on the line and pumps a hard jab to distract his opponent and that allows him to get inside and work.

He couldn't use the jab, Bud was too fast and had it timed. Because Spence is a basic type of fighter who never had to make adjustments, he really was in a hole once he fell behind.

Fair point. Lack of adjustment killed him. I was one of the few who said his jab wouldn't work against Bud. Simply because Bud is the faster fighter, longer & taller. I just didn't expect Spence to get sodomized the way he did man. was brutal to watch. was surprised Spence's best shots didn't hurt Bud, but Gamboa did... very sus of Spence's power

This is why people say Bud passes the eye test, yeah his resume ****** but anyone could tell he had special talent. He needed Spence to prove it to the world

Special talent doesn't always translate. To be truly great you have to show it in these types of fights.

Bud was under pressure here. Different type of build up, different level of opponent, biggest fight of his career. But he showed his greatness. I'm sure he thought he was great - but even he couldn't know for sure until now.

I must admit, I am impressed. I expected him to lose, but he dominated the fight like Spence was some fringe contender.

Crawford is the man.

Spence must go to 154. rematch makes no sense, Bud beats him again.

I was expecting a KO from Bud down the line if the opportunity arises but I never expected it to be a one sided beating. I thought Spence would at least damage Crawford’s face.
