Spence-Crawford will resemble Brown-Blocker WW Unification

    Not SRL-Hearns......

Stylistically, this fight will resemble and have the same consequence as the Brown-Blocker fight, however the fight tomorrow will be more competative with a 7-5 round spread in Spence's favor.

Regardless of the winner, I think they will move up to 154 prior to facing #1 contender Ennis.....similar to SRL moving up as Starling and Curry were bursting on the scene

That's a great comparison, but I was thinking that or Quillin vs Jacobs in which you got 2 guys with power and someone gets stretched early.

If this ends in the first 3 rounds, it will be talked about for the next 50 years.....I'll be pissed but it would be legendary.

I don't think the skill level is comparable. Spence and Crawford are much better fighters than either one.

Nice take...would you place Spence and Crawford on a higher skill level than the following fighters?

          Marlon Starling
          Donald Curry
          Carlos Palomino
          Pipino Cuevas

Not Curry. During his prime he looked unbeatable. He's up there with any welterweight in terms of skill in my opinion. But he had a short prime.

Pipino was was of the hardest hitting welterweights in history. He broke bones with his punches. But his overall skill level I would not put up there with Spence or Crawford.

Starling was excellent. So was Palomino. But I would still rate Spence or Crawford over them overall.

I would rate all of them over Brown and Blocker. Just my opinion.

you obviously wasn't watching boxing in the 80s or 90s if you think spence and Crawford are "much better" than Simon Brown. The terry norris win (in Norris' prime at 154) alone is better than any win either of them have. Brown, Mcgirt, Starling, Davis. The guys of that era fought each other and none of that "my side of the street bs". Starling and Curry fought each other before they reached their prime and did it again later. After Curry lost and moved up, it became Starling's division. Let's not be fans of the moment, because no one Spece or Crawford beat at 147 would Starling, Brown, or Curry have trouble with.

I can’t lie I ain’t watched Brown vs Blocker in a long time. My opinion probably ain’t the best on this. Plus I’m absolutely f***ed after two nights in Vegas so I can barely even think straight at the moment.

I like Bud my late stoppage but it ain’t a confident pick. Looking forward to a great fight tonight.
